University Of Surrey Dance Department conducted a research project called Decentering the Dancing Text (or DDT). This investigated the potential of using a hypertext system to analyse video based dance pieces according to methods suggested by theories of intertextuality.
To complement the research they wanted a comprehensive multimedia presentation that described a theoretical system and simulated it's client software application, to be used in lectures to illustrate the real world potential of the outcomes of their research.
"Though the project was immense in its scope, and the production of the simulation ultimately very complex and problematic, mixmanmedia have created a simply stunning presentation."
Dr Deveril, Lead Researcher.
